Terms of Service

The agreement for the Conscious Founder OS and CoCo. Plain English, written to be read.

Effective Date: 20 July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between you and Thriving Era Studio

("we", "us", "our") for the Conscious Founder OS and the CoCo subscription. They work

alongside the License & Fair-Use Terms and the Privacy notice,

which are part of this agreement. By subscribing to CoCo, or by installing the Conscious

Founder OS, you agree to these Terms.

We've written them to be read. Plain English, short sections. Where a term has real teeth,

we've said so plainly rather than burying it.

1 · The two things you're buying

There are two separate products, and it matters which is which.

The Conscious Founder OS — a one-time purchase you own.

The OS installs into your own environment. It's yours: a one-time purchase, with all updates

free forever, that we never revoke. Cancel CoCo, dispute a charge, ask for a refund — none

of it removes your OS. Your local OS files always remain yours.

CoCo — a subscription to a running asset.

CoCo is an always-on service that runs on top of your OS: live orchestration of your OS's

skills, a compounding memory of your business, and a sourced brief each morning. You

subscribe to CoCo the way you'd subscribe to any running service — because she has real,

ongoing running costs. She is a running asset, not an update or upgrade of the OS. When your

subscription ends, CoCo pauses; your owned OS keeps working.

2 · Eligibility and your account

You need to be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. You're responsible for what happens

under your account and for keeping your license key private (see the License Terms). Tell us

promptly if you think your account or key has been compromised.

3 · Plans, pricing and billing

All prices are in US dollars. Billing is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your

card details.

is subject to the same change mechanics and the same protections: notice first, next

cycle only, cancel freely before it applies.

4 · Free trial for existing OS clients

If you already own the Conscious Founder OS, you get a **14-day free trial of CoCo — no

card required.** Your trial starts on the day you first connect, not on the day we email

you.

At the end of the trial, one of two things happens:

briefs pause. Your owned OS keeps working exactly as before — nothing about it changes.

You can reactivate later at any time (see §7). We won't charge you at the end of a

no-card trial without you actively choosing to subscribe.

5 · The DIY Self-Install — and its auto-continuation

The DIY Self-Install checkout has **two separate line items, because they are two separate

things** *(model corrected by Rocha 5 Jul eve — install and subscription are never bundled

into one figure)*:

purchase, the install is yours, updates free, never revoked. The install price buys the

install and nothing else. *(price-at-checkout wording: Rocha, 13 Jul — never hardcode)*

on checkout day — then the subscription auto-continues at $197/month from month 4; or

Please read this part carefully.
**On the monthly path, your CoCo subscription auto-continues at $197/month from month 4
unless you cancel.** Your first 3 months are prepaid at checkout; from month 4 billing
continues automatically at $197/month (the founding rate, if a founding seat is still
available; otherwise the standard rate). We'll remind you before the first month-4 charge,
and you can cancel any time — your install stays yours and CoCo simply goes dormant.

We disclose this here, at checkout, and in a reminder before the first post-90-day charge, so

there are no surprises.

6 · Cancelling

You can cancel any time. When you cancel:

left off if you come back.

There's no cancellation fee and no lock-in. If CoCo ever stops earning her place, you close

the subscription and keep your OS.

7 · Dormant, reactivation, and revocation

Dormant is our cancel/lapse state, and it's deliberately gentle:

skills, and your daily brief.

vault stays yours, readable and exportable. Dormant means paused, not deleted.

Reactivation. You can reactivate a dormant account at any time. If you joined at the

founding rate, dormancy never costs you your seat: once founding, always founding. Come

back next month or next year, and for as long as the product exists you return at the

founding rate. (Like any rate, the founding rate remains subject to the ordinary §3

price-change mechanics — notice first, next cycle only, cancel freely before a change

applies.) If you never held a founding seat, reactivation is at the then-current standard

rate.

rate on reactivation, indefinitely, while the product exists)*

Revocation is different from dormant, and rarer. We may revoke your CoCo license

not your OS — for a serious breach of the License Terms (redistribution, scraping, key

sharing, and the rest) or on a billing dispute or chargeback, where revocation is

fail-closed. Revocation stops the running service. It never touches the Conscious Founder OS

you own. Full detail lives in the License Terms.

8 · Refunds

activation was never completed** (i.e. you bought but never set CoCo up). Once activation

is complete, the owned install has been delivered — and the install price is non-refundable.

non-refundable.** Cancelling stops all future charges; we don't pro-rate a partial period.

cooling-off right (for example, the UK/EU 14-day cooling-off on distance contracts), that

right applies regardless of the above, and we honour it. At checkout you consent to

immediate digital delivery and acknowledge that the cooling-off right ends once activation

completes — the standard digital-content waiver. Statutory rights that cannot be waived

9 · How you may and may not use the service

she makes for you freely — that's what it's for.

parties. These and the full fair-use terms (including the 25-runs-per-day soft cap) are set

out in the License Terms and form part of this agreement.

abusive content.

10 · What CoCo does — and doesn't — do

CoCo advises, drafts, and proposes. She never decides, sends, or publishes on her own.

Nothing goes out into the world without you. The one thing she does on her own schedule is

prepare your morning brief.

CoCo is a thinking and production partner, not a substitute for your own professional

judgment. Her output is not legal, financial, tax, medical, or other regulated

professional advice. Decisions are yours; check anything that carries real consequences with

a qualified professional. You're responsible for what you choose to publish or act on.

11 · Availability, changes, and the platform underneath

We work hard to keep the service running and improving, but we don't promise it will be

uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or retire features over time.

CoCo is built on a frontier AI platform (currently Anthropic's Claude, via the Anthropic

API) and other infrastructure providers. If those platforms change, absorbing that drift is

our job — it's part of what the subscription pays for. If we ever need to make a change that

materially reduces what the service does, we'll tell you, and you can cancel and keep your

OS.

12 · Your content and your data

You keep ownership of your brand context and everything you put into the service. You grant

us only the permission we need to run the service for you — to store your brand context, load

your voice, and produce your work and briefs. We never use your data to train AI models and

never share it with other clients. The full detail is in the Privacy notice.

13 · Our intellectual property

The Conscious Founder OS, CoCo, the protected server-side skills, and the underlying method

are ours (or our licensors'). Your purchase and subscription grant you the rights described

in these Terms and the License Terms — and nothing more. In particular, nothing here gives

you the right to the protected skills' content or method themselves.

14 · Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law (for example, for death

or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).

Subject to that, to the fullest extent the law allows: the service is provided "as is"; we're

not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or

goodwill; and our total liability to you for any claim connected with the service is limited

to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim.

If you're a consumer, your statutory consumer rights are unaffected — nothing in this

section limits any right that the consumer law of your country gives you and does not allow

to be limited.

carve-out kept as final text)*

15 · Suspension and termination

You can cancel any time (§6). We may suspend or terminate the CoCo service for a serious

breach of these Terms or the License Terms, for non-payment, or where we're required to by

law — normally with notice, immediately where a breach or risk is serious. Termination of

CoCo never removes your owned OS.

16 · Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we'll give you reasonable notice before

it takes effect, in a way you can see (email or in-product). If you keep using CoCo after

that, you accept the updated Terms. If you don't want to, cancel — and your OS stays exactly

as it is.

17 · Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and the courts of England &

Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you're a consumer, this doesn't take away any

protection you have under the mandatory law of the country where you live — you keep those

protections wherever you are.
